THREE SCOOPS PLEASE!

SINCE I COULDN'T GO OUTSIDE AND WORK IN THE FLOWER BED'S OR KOI POND TODAY (JUST TOO WET)...I DECIDED TO PLAY WITH MY CRICUT AND MAKE A CARD.

I didn't have a clue what I was going to do with this card at first (design wise), but after playing around a bit...it suddenly took shape.  I think sometimes it's good to just sit down and make a card for no other reason then just to do it.

Yummy!

For this card I used the following cartridges and measurements.  Happily Ever After-Doc (pg61), cut at 5 inches.  Sweet Treats-ice cream #7/shadow (pg36), cut at 4 inches and Wild Card-Bon Appetit (pg 81), cut at 3 1/2 inches.

I'll start with Docs' details first...As you know by now, I'm an inker...and this card is no different from most others that I do, so poor ol' Doc was indeed inked with brown along his clothing, shoes, arms and forhead to make him look a little dirty after a day in the mine.  I also used velvet flock on his hat (brown) and on his snowy white beard (white).  There is also Glossy Accents on his eyes and glasses...and medium pink chalk on his cheeks and nose.

For the ice cream...I used patterned papers for the different flavors of ice cream, Glossy Accents to give the scoops a look of being wet and the Cuttlebug folder "D'vine Swirl for the toppings.  I also inked the edges of the toppings with brown, carnation pink and off white...along with some mini brads to act as sprinkles.

That just leaves the little card above the treat and the dish trim...the card is simply a pink piece of card stock (inked) centered on textured white card stock, plus the phrase and the trim is from a Martha Stewart punch (sorry, cant remember the name)

* I also used pop dots on the upper half of Doc and the title card, plus doubled the pop dots under the entire ice cream so it was standing above the other images.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by...your visits are always welcome and appreciated!  Kathie
