WHILE LOOKING AROUND ON LINE, I FOUND A NEW BLOG (TO ME) CALLED, BITTENBYTHEBUG2...I SAW THEY WERE HAVING A CHALLENGE...AND WELL, YEAH, I DECIDED TO GIVE IT A GO.
I made this card in colors that I thought would be a little more masculine...and because I tend to be drawn to the more earthy tones myself I thought this would be a good choice. I also tried to keep in mind, would my husband like to receive this card and would it appeal to men in general. After a long search through my paper...I came up with this card.I hope you like it.
By the way. This card is for the Ice Cream Cone challenge over at bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com. There's still time to join in if you'd like.
Mmmm!
The following cartridge and measurement was used for this card. Sweet Treats-ice cream #6/shadow (pg35), cut at 6 inches. That's it!
For this ice cream cone, like in the previous post...I wanted the scoops to have patterned paper to show each flavor as being different. I inked the edges in brown, used Glossy Accents on the drip of ice cream falling and placed pop dots on the lower half of each layer to give it some demension. For the cone itself, I simply inked the edges with brown and used the Cuttlebug folder "Diamond Plate" to make it look like a real sugar cone.
For the title, I printed out the saying from my computer and cut it to 1 1/2" x 2 1/4" and then mounted it on another piece of card stock 2 1/4" x 2 3/4".
Thanks for looking. Kathie
